Origin Checks
Orridge believes that to provide a full service to our customers, we need to start at the beginning. Our origin checks do precisely that.
Origin checks on suppliers can be carried out at the docks, in your bonded premises, or your primary consolidation centres. The origin check approach is similar to that of our pick accuracy audits, by auditing a sample of the deliveries. The resulting accuracy figure is then extrapolated to provide you and your supplier with an independent performance assessment.
Where beneficial, we can also perform these audits within the premises of your suppliers - checking the outbound accuracy of stock assigned to you. Whilst this can be a more complex route to take, we are more than happy to work with your suppliers to facilitate this.
